Side Pod Extensions

Most kart manufacturers design the chassis so that the side pods do not extend past the wheels. Nurf bar (side pod) extenders are used to move the pods out past the front and rear wheels. By extending the side pods, you are much less likely to have wheel to wheel contact resulting in accidents, bent axles and bent spindles. PKT's Cadet Nurf Bar Extender Kit or PKT's OTK Kid Kart Nurf Bar Extender Kit can be installed to solve this issue. Other products like “Black Magic Tire Dressing” may be useful during side to side contact.
